The Church of God in Christ kicked off the summer in Detroit, Michigan with the Auxiliaries In Ministry (AIM) Conference June 29th through July 4th. The conference began last Sunday evening with an awesome Pre-Musical that featured some of Gospel music s elite, including J Moss, Dorinda Clark Cole, Kierra Ki-Ki Sheard, and a host of others. Through out the week, in downtown Detroit, the Cobo Hall Conference Center stayed near capacity with daily services, classes and workshops, youth activities, and with vendors that specialized in fashion and accessories, to Christian media and books. Over one million people packed local hotels to take part in the conference that highlighted some of COGICs most dynamic preachers and leaders, such as Evangelist Joyce Rogers, Superintendent J. Drew Sheard, and COGICs Chief Apostle, Bishop Charles E. Blake to name a few. Gospelface was honored to be able to take part in this event and shared with you on the spot interviews throughout the week.
